It is start from my curiousity about playing wmv file in my slackware. I found that slackware can run mplayer. Universal video player that I can run it from terminal. But still you have to log on as init 4 at least. Or in GUI mode.

And with Gmplayer (same thing) you can see a player in your GUI with the skin you can download in mplayerhq.hu.
